Leadership

Michael Haase is the President of M-Con Strategic Solutions. Mr. Haase draws on 25 years of experience leading, building, and implementing successful national security programs to provide strategic and analytical approaches that directly lead to high-impact results and high-quality products. He has led organizational and program management enhancement initiatives including the development of strategic plans, strategic initiatives, program management plans, project work plans, policy and implementation guidelines, and branding and communications products. With an emphasis on building distinguished organizations and programs, Mr. Haase serves as a trusted advisor working in close partnership with clients to develop and support the implementation of new program initiatives, assessments, projects, and products. He currently manages comprehensive program management contracts with the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Radiological Security and the Office of Infrastructure and Operations.

Prior corporate experience includes serving as Vice President of Aquila Technologies where he directed Washington DC-based government and commercial consulting and technology programs for initiatives with NNSA in weapons of mass destruction security. Mr. Haase also has corporate experience serving as a Program Manager for Mele Associates, Canberra Industries, and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Mr. Haase served in the government as a federal manager for the U.S. Department of Energy nonproliferation program from 1993-2000 working as a Division Director for the Office of International Material Protection and Cooperation where he managed nonproliferation programs to secure nuclear materials at sites in Russia and other former Soviet Union countries. Mr. Haase holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University.
